Rivanna Awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement with EPA
Charlottesville, VA (April 2, 2007) – Rivanna Natural Designs, Inc. announced today that the company has been awarded a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Under the terms of the agreement, Rivanna shall provide environmentally responsible awards, plaques, and other “green” recognition items to EPA for a period of one year. The period of performance may be extended unilaterally by EPA through March 21, 2010.
“Rivanna has been an EPA vendor since 2002 and supports a wide array of EPA award programs and regional events,” said Crystal Mario, president. “We appreciate this opportunity to continue our work with EPA throughout the country and to streamline the ordering process for our EPA clients.”
The blanket purchase agreement with Rivanna is the first of its kind to be awarded by EPA for “green” recognition items and awards. Officials authorized to place orders under this BPA include any warranted EPA Contracting Officer and any EPA Purchase Card Holder.
